We don't sell tours — we craft once-in-a-lifetime memories, guided by people who were born in the landscapes they lead you through.

Born-and-Raised Local Guides

Our guides grew up in the parks they lead. They know secret watering holes, hidden trails, and the best time of day to find a leopard in a tree.

Fully Vetted & Licensed

Our Story

Born from the Dust of the Mara

Granelle Adventures didn't start in a boardroom. It started beside a campfire, deep in the Maasai Mara, where our founder Samuel watched a family of lions at dusk and thought: "Every person on earth deserves to feel this."

Founded in Nairobi by a team of fifth-generation Kenyans with lifelong roots in the country's most iconic wilderness areas.
Certified by the Kenya Tourism Board, with every guide holding Wilderness First Aid and Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association credentials.
We have introduced over 1,800 international travelers — from New York to Tokyo — to the primal heartbeat of Kenya, with zero serious incidents in our operational history.
We speak your language — literally. Our multilingual team handles guests from the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and across Asia with fluency and warmth.
Every booking contributes directly to the Granelle Community Fund — supporting schools, clean water projects, and anti-poaching efforts in the communities where we operate.

Kenya Safari — Frequently Asked Questions

Everything international travelers ask us before booking their Kenya safari. Honest answers from our local experts.

Kenya safari packages with Granelle Adventures start from $250 per person for a 2-day Amboseli budget safari, $500 per person for a 3-day Maasai Mara mid-range safari, and from $1,000 per person for luxury packages including Samburu and Diani Beach. All packages include transport from Nairobi, accommodation, all meals, game drives and park fees — with zero hidden costs.

The best time for the Great Migration river crossings is July to October, with September being peak season. However the Mara offers outstanding Big Five wildlife year-round. January–March and June are excellent months with fewer tourists and lower prices. We recommend a minimum 3 nights to maximise your wildlife encounters.

Yes. Kenya is safe for tourists who travel with a licensed, reputable operator and exercise normal caution. Kenya's major tourist areas — Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and the Kenya coast — are widely considered safe. Granelle Adventures is Kenya Tourism Board certified, fully insured, and has a perfect safety record with over 1,800 international clients.

All Granelle Adventures packages include: return transport from Nairobi in a 4x4 safari vehicle, accommodation (budget, mid-range or luxury), all meals on Full Board, morning and evening game drives, national park and conservancy entry fees, and a KPSGA-certified English-speaking guide. The price we quote is the price you pay — no hidden costs.

Yes — all of the Big Five can be seen in Kenya. The Maasai Mara has the highest density of lions in Africa and excellent leopard sightings. Amboseli is world-renowned for elephant herds against Kilimanjaro. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary. Samburu offers unique species found nowhere else — reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, and the Somali ostrich.

The Great Migration is the largest overland migration of mammals on earth — over 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 350,000 gazelle move in a circuit between Tanzania's Serengeti and Kenya's Maasai Mara. The most dramatic event is the Mara River crossing, where herds brave crocodile-filled waters. It is widely considered the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth. Peak crossing season is July to October.

Booking is simple: fill in our online inquiry form on this page, WhatsApp us on +254 741 535 795, or email info@granelleadventures.com. We respond within 2 hours with a personalised itinerary and quote at no cost. A deposit of 50% confirms your booking with the balance due one week before travel.

Most international visitors require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) to enter Kenya. Apply online at etakenya.go.ke before departure. The eTA costs $30 USD and is typically approved within 72 hours. Citizens of some East African Community countries are exempt. We advise all clients to check current requirements for their specific nationality.

Recommended vaccinations include hepatitis A, typhoid and tetanus. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all wildlife areas including the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu and the coast. Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from an endemic country. Consult your doctor or travel health clinic at least 4–6 weeks before departure.

Budget safaris (from $250/person) use comfortable basic camps, shared game drives and road transport. The wildlife and experience is identical — lions, elephants and sunsets don't charge extra. Luxury safaris (from $1,000/person) offer private game vehicles, five-star lodge accommodation, exclusive conservancy access, gourmet bush dinners and often domestic flights. Both tiers use our same expert KPSGA-certified guides.
